Collegetown construction boom
Ithaca's Collegetown is becoming a mid-rise apartment forest.
Four major residential projects are either under construction or nearing completion this summer, adding over 250 units to the neighborhood [Quelle: Ithaca Voice]. The Summit at 201 Oak Avenue opens in August with studios and one-bedrooms starting at $2,700 monthly; The Ivy at 325 College Avenue (52 units) and The Bear at 215 College Avenue (84 units) are racing toward late summer delivery. The Pinnacle Apartments at 121-125 Lake Street, built on a remediated industrial site, is nearing completion with two-bedroom units around $3,000 monthly.
Prestige Ithaca's conversion of the former Collegetown fire station into 77 units is set to break ground soon, targeting summer 2028 completion.
Lake Watch Inn reborn as family center
The old Lake Watch Inn is getting a second life.

County seniors' office moves July 20
Ithaca's aging services are relocating across town.
